It surrounds us

Who Are We?

There is no "we" there is only us, and you and I are building an off-grid mesh network in central PA and expanding into the surrounding area.

Together we keep the network up and running simply by participating!

Origin Story...

Honestly I have no idea. I don't claim any credit for starting anything other than this website. When I connected my first node there were already lots of them online before me. As I am writing this I'm currently seeing 62 other nodes, and that is just with a small device by the window.

My First Node - NVM 0

You can only do so much alone.

Rough aproximation of public nodes - Feb. 2026

Who even put them there? Maybe one of those nodes is you.

Valleys and Ridges.

Our natural geography is not friendly toward radio transmission. The traditional solution to this problem is to build very tall towers and have very powerful broadcasts. But if you drive around and listen to the radio then you know that doesn't always work. The Meshtastic solution is to build a mesh and hop across many radio devices that are smaller and use less power than your cell phone!

There are large meshes east and west of us but the terrain makes it difficult to connect them.

All images are approximations at time of publish. Meshes change constantly.

Welcome. This website now exists... It is my hope that it will help some new people to try out Meshtastic for the first time and maybe even stick around and grow the mesh!
